Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

The Cor-purr-ate Story
(Glyph's
Rise to Power)

Triscuit developed diabetes several years ago and then inflammatory bowel disease, two things whose treatments tend to counter one another.  On August 2, 2008, he was doing badly, and we took him to an intensive care facility.  At times, he seemed like he was going to make it somehow, but things kept failing.   We got to spend time with him this afternoon, and he could still enjoy the attention, but it was clear that we were running out of time.  On August 14th, we went to visit him, and not long after we returned home, we got a call.  He had simply stopped breathing and went as quietly as could be hoped for before he suffered visibly.

We'd like to thank all of those who helped us through a very difficult time.
