Item: PP-1 This demitasse tea set is flat out fantastic. It's Bavarian porcelain from the Oscar Schaller company, probably around 1930. The decoration is handpainted and features silver floral decoration and multi-colored butterflies. The silver has a nice rainbow glint when the light catches it just right. The set includes a teapot, creamer, sugar, 8 cups and saucers, and 8 dessert plates. The pot stands about 7 3/4" tall. The cups are about 1 5/8" tall, saucers about 4 1/2" across, and the plates are about 6 1/2" in diameter. Even though many Bohemian companies have made great porcelain for a long time, they still don't get the attention that the Limoges companies have received. Not that many people have heard of Schaller, but this set speaks for itself and represents a rather uncommon chance to get so many beautiful pieces at one time. Condition is excellent with no damage or wear problems. Of course, all our sales are fully guaranteed. Price is $425 plus $25.50 Priority Mail and insurance within the U.S. International shipping rates quoted on request. E-Mail Us To buy an item (or more), just get in touch through the e-mail link, or you can call us at 812-467-0191. (A busy signal is still common, I'm afraid since we only have one phone line.) Identify the item by the title or some other description (and we will be using stock numbers soon to cope with a larger site). We'll confirm that the item is still available, make sure we agree on the total, and answer any questions you wish to throw our way. Checks or money orders should be made "Forrest OR Virginia Poston". We also take Paypal (including credit card payments). We try to ship in one or two days after payment arrives, and we're generous with the bubblewrap and styrofoam peanuts. If there's something you'd like us to find for you, let us know. We're just itching to please you, or maybe that was Poison Ivy we got into. Remember that all proceeds go to support good causes: my spouse, our cats (see the "staff" here), our creditors, my auction addiction, and the plumbing project that never ends. |
