Ruscha
Wall Plate, Chinese Decor  Description: Ruscha did a fair number of plate
motifs with Oriental origins, and this one appears to be called
Chinese, which certainly seems appropriate. The design and execution
both have an understated quality that gives the plate a quiet
effectiveness. Date would be circa 1958. The plate is
molded, but the incised design and enamel work are "handarbeit", or
hand done.Dimensions: diameter is a bit above average for Ruscha plates of this era at just under 11". Condition: excellent with no damage and no repairs. Of course, all our sales are fully guaranteed. Price:
