vase for Kaiser Porcelain
Sold Description: This
intriguing piece of West German porcelain was designed for Kaiser by
Martin Frey, one of the top designers in the field. The vase looks like
an old stone wall with fossils embedded in the surface. The
detail of the design and execution is superb. This comes from a
period when works like this were usually white on white Op-Art, but
this one has a light tan wash or glaze that highlights the design well
without being a distraction. The shape is 134, and you can see M.
Frey as an in-mold "signature" in the lower left corner of the mark
photo (although Frey's name is upside down).Condition: excellent with no damage and no repairs. Of course, all our sales are fully guaranteed. Form Number: 134 Height is about 9".  Price:
